The trend for no-lace plimsolls looks set to continue for the forthcoming summer season, so get ready for the finer weather with these mini shooting star design mock lace-ups from Cath Kidston.
One of two designs currently available, the mini shooting star can be worn by both boys and girls (a pretty floral design is the other version), and there are lots of other accessories in the same design.
Made from 100% cotton denim which is strong and long-lasting, with a rubber sole and toe-cap, these shoes are durable but also fun to wear. The top is elasticated making them easy to put on and pull off, without the requirement of tricky laces for your child to manage.

A new range of pretty plimsolls are now available for girls for the coming season. Once again the trend will be for no laces.
Perfect for younger girls who may not have yet learned how to tie laces, these plimsolls are practical as well as pretty.
The overall colour of the plimsolls are pale blue with a mixture of whites, pinks and reds that have been used in the pretty floral design. They look great with jeans and 3/4 length leggings as shown in the image, and have the traditional white rubber toe-cap,

Christmas is now behind us for another year and some of us are looking forward to when the kids are back at school. We are also hoping that all their uniform and shoes are in good condition and still fits! However, there will be some of us who need to buy the odd item before school including shoes. These black permair leather shoes for boys are smart and practical so are perfect for school.
The flat top of the shoes is easy to clean and being scuff- resistant they look better for longer too. A thick textured rubber sole is great for grip so if we are still experiencing the ice and snow when school resumes in January, your son will have more ability to stay on his feet.

Boy’s are generally pretty reluctant to wear slippers even when us mums nag them in the Winter months. However, we don’t think they’ll need much coaxing with these fun cloud boots!
Made from super soft fleece these boots are ultra cosy and will keep his toes as warm as toast even on the coldest mornings. With a suede sole for stability on floor surfaces, the boots are machine washable so will stay looking good for ages.
